Nursing point for headaches
- Children often get anxious their head hurts, so please try to calm them down gently.
- If your child has a fever, avoid heavy clothing and make sure to keep hydrated.
- If there is vomiting, rehydration is also important. However, do not force your child to drink.
- If there is a convulsion, loosen the clothes and turn your child’s face sideways so that vomiting does not lead to choking.
- Go visit the hospital and do not give your child headache medication.
At your visit, let your doctor know
- Since when did your child’s head start hurting?
- Has your child ever been diagnosed with allergic rhinitis or empyema?
