    How to cool
    • Cool by using running water or ice.
    • If your child had burns while wearing clothes such as falling in a hot bath, cool your child with the clothes on.
    • Cool the area for at least 20-30 minutes to help alleviate pain.
      * Commercially available chilled sheets cannot be used to cool burns.
