You should go to the emergency clinic.
Preparing to go to the emergency clinic
Let’s prepare the items you will take to the hospital
- □ Health insurance card
- □ Medical expenses deduction certificate (infant)
- □ Maternal and Child Handbook
- □ Medication Handbook
- □ Body temperature tracking notes
- □ Change of clothes, diapers
- □ Money
Let’s be careful when going to the hospital
- 1. Check sources of fire before leaving home!
- 2. Don't forget to close your door!
- 3. Watch out for traffic accidents!
Nursing point for nosebleed
- Visit the emergency clinic while keeping the nose pressed and leaning slightly forward.
- If your child lays facing upward, the nosebleed will flow down into your child’s throat and will cause coughing, or ingesting the blood may cause nausea.
- Do not hit the back of your child’s neck. There is no basis for hitting the back of the neck.
At the hospital, let your doctor know
- What was your child doing when the nosebleed started? (For example: hit his/her nose, taking a bath, etc.)
- Does your child have a chronic disease?
- Does your child often get a nosebleed? How often? (For example: once a month, rarely, etc.)
