There seems to be no symptoms that requires urgent attention. It appears sufficient to monitor the situation at home, and take your child to the hospital during regular hours.
Nursing point for diarrhea
- Diarrhea in babies and small children tend to continue for a while, but you do not have to be anxious about it. The most important thing is to maintain good hydration and make appropriate adjustments in offering milk and meals.
- Being hungry is evidence of good condition, but the usual amount of milk and meals can cause indigestion. Try to reduce the amount of milk your child drinks at one time and avoid thick juices. If your baby is eating solid foods, you can try temporarily stopping it or just feeding rice porridge.
- Even if your child does not have a fever or nausea, see a doctor the next day.
