Points to check for diarrhea
- If your child has a fever or nausea, blood or pus in diarrhea, or if movements are slow and tiresome, you should visit an emergency clinic.
At the hospital, let your doctor know
- From when, how many times, and how much did your child poop?
- What was the color of the stool? (Example: whitish, blackish, reddish, greenish, etc.)
* Take the diaper from with the stool when you visit.
- Is there anyone else in your household with diarrhea?
- Is your child drinking fluids? How much? If not, how long has it been since drinking fluids?
- Are there many stray cats in the neighborhood?
