There seems to be no symptoms that requires urgent attention. It appears sufficient to monitor the situation at home, and take your child to the hospital during regular hours.

Child’s Symptoms

  • Eythema Infectiosum?
However, if symptoms change, please visit an emergency clinic. During holidays and New Years break, visit the emergency clinic the next day.

Nursing point for when skin rash appears

  • If your child was taking medicine just before it developed, stop giving it to him/her. Bring the medication instructions and your child’s medication handbook to the hospital.
  • If your child just started taking the medication, please stop the administering it, and consult with the doctor who prescribed it.
  • If you don't have symptoms such as swollen eyelids, wheezing, intolerable itching, etc, it seems appropriate to continue to monitor your child at home for the time being.
  • Small children, especially babies, have delicate skin, so they are susceptible to developing red bumps. Since exposing it to drool, milk, and sweat can make it worse, firstly, it is important to keep your child’s skin clean, such as through bathing.
  • After a bath, the redness may look stronger, but don't worry.
  • Baby oil may further aggravate your child’s skin condition, so refrain from easygoing use of it and visit your doctor the next day.
